Utility Infrastructure for
Mohave Valley School District’s New Electric Bus Charging Facility
ASUSE is proud to showcase its latest featured project as part of the region’s growing investment in clean transportation,—providing essential utility infrastructure for the Mohave Valley School District’s new Electric Vehicle (EV) bus charging station. This project represents a major step forward in sustainability, converting the site of a former school gym into a future-ready EV hub for the district’s expanding electric bus fleet.
A Comprehensive Utility Package
ASUSE was selected to deliver full wet utility services both onsite and offsite, ensuring that the new facility is fully equipped to meet current needs and accommodate future growth. The scope of work included:
-
Domestic Water Service: ASUSE installed new domestic water lines to serve the daily operational needs of the facility.
-
-
Onsite and Offsite Sanitary Sewer: Installation of new sewer lines and manholes to service maintenance areas and support facilities.
-
-
Onsite and Offsite Fireline and Fire Hydrants: Full fire protection systems were installed in compliance with code and safety standards.
-
-
Oil Interceptors: A modern oil interceptor system including sand/oil interceptor and oil/water separator was constructed to protect the municipal sewer system from automotive runoff and contaminants.
Each element was carefully designed and constructed by ASUSE’s experienced field crews and project managers, ensuring high-quality delivery on a tight timeline and budget restraints.
Building for a Cleaner Future
This project marks a key transition for the Mohave Valley School District, aligning with broader state and national efforts to reduce vehicle emissions and adopt clean energy technologies. By replacing an outdated gymnasium with a purpose-built EV charging station, the district is demonstrating leadership in sustainable infrastructure.
ASUSE is proud to play a role in this transformation. Our work supports not only reliable utility function but also environmental responsibility, helping public institutions make impactful changes that benefit both students and the broader community.
